I could not agree more with your editorial (‘No Brain Required’, Jan/Feb 2003). We here in the States have seen radio move to a total market-driven process. Even National Public Radio is bending that way. Don’t let it happen to you. Only University or small FM stations can have DJs play new music. Our show, Ireland Then & Now, tries to bring new material to our public.
