RTÉ is Ireland’s national public-service media organisation. A leader in Irish media, RTÉ provides comprehensive, cost-effective, free-to-air multi-media services to the public in Ireland and interested audiences internationally.

RTÉ has a number of integrated business divisions, one of which, RTÉ Orchestras, Quartet & Choirs, maintains the RTÉ National Symphony and RTÉ Concert Orchestras, RTÉ Contempo Quartet, RTÉ Philharmonic Choir and RTÉ Cór na nÓg. 

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra has established a unique role in Irish musical life over the past 68 years. Eclectic in its range, engaging in its performance style and dynamic in its programming, the orchestra appeals to a wide general audience with a busy schedule that includes over 90 live performances annually, regular TV and radio broadcasts, recordings and educational work. The RTÉ CO performs throughout the island of Ireland and beyond.

Auditions will take place on Saturday 5th March 2016 in Dublin.
