Deis is a scheme established under the Arts Council’s Traditional Arts Initiative. It is aimed at encouraging and facilitating the traditional arts community to seek funding from the Arts Council for a range of projects.

The deadline for the next round of Deis funding is 4 June and the window for making applications through the online services website is open on 5 May 2015.

Please note - Applications for projects that centre on the publication of work, such as tutorials, tune collections, critical writing, etc. will not be eligible for the Deis Award but are eligible for application to the Deis Recording & Publication Award.

Maximum awarded: €20,000
