Join Drogheda Orchestral Collective and The Contemporary Youth Orchestra for this summer afternoon performance. Drogheda Orchestral Collective are a community orchestra which performs a broad repertoire from classical through film scores to choral and experimental pieces and has collaborated with many artists and performers since its formation in 2013. Under the baton of conductor Karen Ní Bhroin the concert will feature a selection of pieces by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Fauré & Peter Warlock.

The concert will also feature a performance from The Contemporary Youth Orchestra from the USA who will be visiting Drogheda as part of their 2018 tour of the UK and Ireland. Under the direction of Liza Grossman CYO is the only youth orchestra in the United States dedicated to the study and performance of contemporary orchestral literature. The orchestra is in residence at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, United States.
