Assistant Professor in Music and Media Technologies (Part-Time)

The School of Engineering seeks to appoint a part-time (0.4 FTE) Assistant Professor to the M.Phil. in Music and Media Technologies (MMT) course offered by the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. The role will include general teaching across the Music and Media Technologies spectrum collectively spanning areas as follows but especially in the area of contemporary music composition:
- Contemporary Music Composition: Acoustic, Electroacoustic & Mixed-Media Composition & Performance, the history of 20th and 21st century contemporary composition;
- Music Notation & Orchestration: Music Theory & Notation, Orchestration and Instrumentation, and Notation Software and Score production;
- New Media Technologies: Finale, MAX MSP, Pure Data, Processing, Csound, Supercollidor;
- Media Workflows: Audio Engineering, Production using DAWs, and Sound Design
