This is an opportunity to work with the only ensemble of its kind in the world. A uniquely Irish, award-winning project with great growth potential.

The Project Manager will work with some of Ireland’s best musicians across classical music, traditional Irish music and jazz.

In 2017 the Project Manager’s main focus will involve general fundraising and managing the IMO Apprentice Scheme, which includes a major concert in Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin on 4th November with special guest Maírtín O’Connor.

About the role:

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
  • Manage and develop relationships with new, existing and past sponsors/funders
  • Prepare funding applications and reports
  • Manage the operations of the orchestra in co-operation with staff and volunteers
  • Manage and administer the Apprentice Scheme
  • Source and manage events and other opportunities 
  • Creating and managing budgets
  • Negotiate fees and contracts 
  • Liaise with venues and promoters
  • Source new staff, volunteers and booking agents
  • Oversee and assist Marketing/PR campaigns
  • Develop the IMO’s international profile
