This part-time role offers a chance to gain experience across all strands of fundraising whilst offering vital support to the development team as a whole. An ideal opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in fundraising or wishing to gain experience in arts administration.
The Key tasks of the role are:
- Administration of Corporate Membership scheme – renewals, queries, recruitment
- Events administration / support - Hallé Golf Day, GMCA concert, Tatton Park, GM 10k etc.
- Administration and management of in-kind sponsorship agreements – hotels and restaurants.
- Support the freelance Trusts Manager; collate applications, monitor submissions / deadlines.
- Management of Development Team travel arrangements – including Trainline bookings
- Research potential new sources of income: trusts and foundations and corporate
- File all correspondence related to Trusts and Foundations / corporate members /sponsors
- Support the Development team at concerts and in the corporate bar as appropriate
- Any other duties as reasonably required by the Director of Development
