The Leeds College of Music is looking for a dynamic tutor to deliver 1-1 songwriting lessons within the new Songwriting degree. The successful candidate will have first class musical skills, be passionate about teaching and care about developing and nurturing students.

The College is looking for a highly experienced songwriting tutor with a strong public profile, who will inspire and bring innovative practice to this progressive institution. The candidate should be comfortable working within a wide range of popular styles, preferably with experience in developing material that is on the periphery of the mainstream pop sphere. The candidate will be expected to deliver one-to-one tuition on a weekly basis throughout the academic year, guiding the student towards technical assessments and portfolio submissions.
