Benjamin Appl & Pavel Kolesnikov @ Kilkenny Arts Festival
After a thrilling debut in 2017, Benjamin Appl makes an eagerly awaited return to the Festival with a programme featuring favourite songs by Schubert, Schumann and Grieg, also embracing the Festival’s Brahms theme with the composer’s last great song cycle, Four Serious Songs.
Partnered by the exciting young Russian Pavel Kolesnikov in his third collaboration in this year’s Festival, the programme showcases Appl’s astonishing blend of tonal beauty and poetic sensitivity. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to see two of Europe’s rising stars of voice and keyboard.
