DePaul University School of Music seeks a junior faculty member in the area of composition who has a passion for teaching composition, theory and/or aural skills. The successful candidate will be a superb and experienced professional with a national or international profile in composition. PhD or DMA in composition required.

Responsibilities:
Teach composition (both at the introductory and advanced levels) as well as theory and/or aural skills to music majors. Assume other duties consistent with interest and expertise, such as electronic music, improvisation, non-Western music, performance, or other area, depending upon experience. Collaborate in artistic and/or scholarly domains with other faculty members. Take part in recruitment activities. Participate in the governance of the school.
