Now in its fifth year, with a cast of just over one hundred Irish singers, musicians and dancers from Mayo and Manchester the Mayo Manchester Gala Concert at the Ballina Arts Centre promises to be a night to remember.

Hosted by ‘The Voice of Old Trafford’ Mr Alan Keegan, from Manchester United football club, who is flying in from United’s USA Tour to host the evening.

Performers from Manchester include Joe Keegan from the TV Show The Voice, plus the award-winning Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band and the Keegan Academy of Irish Dancing which is run by the new Lord of the Dance – James Keegan and his sister Louise. Performers from Mayo include Sean Nós dancers Tommy Stenson and the Ganley Sisters, there is also a specially commissioned performance from Lavinia Gilmartin’s award winning Heroes for Hospice group, the highly-acclaimed dancers and musicians from Atlantic Rhythm and Foxford’s Admiral Brown CCÉ group.

This annual event always sells out in advance and you are urged to purchase your tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment.
