The School of Media and Performing Arts at the University of Portsmouth, is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Musical Theatre.

They are seeking an experienced practitioner / academic with a broad range of practical expertise and knowledge in areas of musical theatre in global contexts, new musical theatre writing, and ‘acting the song’. An established scholar and practitioner, with international connections to industry and the academy, the successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of core teaching across the undergraduate programmes, along with relevant departmental activities such as recruitment and course development. The successful applicant will also play a key role in establishing and consolidating the expansion of current portfolio and future development.
