Applications are being accepted for the Young Opera Voice competition at the Navan Choral and Instrumental Festival.

To be eligible for this competition, competitors must satisfy all of the following criteria:

• Competitors must be from the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland; or from abroad and resident in Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland for at least two years prior to the date of the competition.
• Attending a third level/postgraduate course of study or private school or private tuition.
• Born between the 1st May 1989 and 30th April 2001

Competitors will perform two pieces in the qualifying round (one aria and one art song). Finalists will perform two pieces (another aria and one of the pieces already preformed in the qualifying round).
