Marketing and Events Intern
The intern will gain practical experience in the workings of a cultural organization, understanding each role within it, production, researching potential target markets in terms of audience development, comprising reports as well as other administrative tasks in PR, Social Media, marketing & fundraising departments. On completion the intern will have attained skills in business development, databases, editorial, PR, event planning/management/marketing and social media in relation to the arts and cultural sector. There will be a subsistence allowance to assist with travel and lunch costs.
You should have an ability to work on your own initiative and to work as part of a team in a busy environment. You should also have strong communication skills - both written and verbal, an ability to work to a deadline and under pressure. Have a good friendly and enthusiastic manner.
