This is a great opportunity for the Series to engage with what will be Ireland’s new national opera company and have the chance to experience six emerging opera stars in Drogheda. Performing arias, duos, trios and ensembles, they will be accompanied by Andrew Synnott on piano.

The singers include Muireann Mulrooney (sop) Amy Ní Fhearraigh (sop) Carolyn Holt (mez) Andrew Gavin (ten) Cormac Lawlor (bar) and Rob McAllister (bass bar). All with big careers ahead of them, many have already had leading roles in operas in Ireland and further afield.

The Series is funded by the Arts Council and Louth County Council and is in partnership with Droichead Arts Centre.
