Overview: 

The Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU) is one of Australia’s leading music schools and has exceptional international standing and connections. QCGU is part of one of the largest visual and performing arts education and research precincts in Australia which is also home to the Queensland College of Art and the Griffith Film School.

QCGU’s Music Technology department delivers the only music technology degree in Australia that has access to a variety of networked performance spaces, as well as a large and diverse group of performers and productions. We also have a critically acclaimed work integrated learning program, industry contacts and connections that put our Music Technology area at the forefront to this field.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the South Bank campus.

The role: 

This Senior Lecturer position will make a substantial contribution to the teaching profile of QCGU in the area of Music Technology. In addition to taking a leading role in the Music Technology area, this position will have input into a range of undergraduate, honours and higher degree programs and courses.

The person: 

We are seeking a teacher / performer of national or international calibre to provide leadership in our Music Technology area. The successful candidate will have broad experience in the music technology profession, teaching experience at a tertiary level and capacity to contribute to a range of activities within Queensland Conservatorium. 

Salary range: 

Senior Lecturer, Level C: $106,274- $122,543 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $124,341 - $143,376 per annum.
