Fitzwilliam College invites applications for a part-time Director of Music with effect from 1 September 2017. Applicants should provide a covering letter, curriculum vitae with particulars of educational record, special interests and experience, and the names of two referees (we will ask for references only for short-listed candidates).

Job Description
The Director of Music will provide guidance, co-ordination and motivation to students involved in music-making in College and will work in consultation with the Senior Officers of the Music Society.  The appointment is from 1 September 2017 for 3 years in the first instance. The stipend will be £12,443 per annum, and will be increased in line with the annual review of University stipends. The post holder will be elected to a Bye-Fellowship for the period of the appointment, with an entitlement to 7 meals per week (either lunch or dinner) at College expense whenever the kitchens are open. Subsidised residential accommodation for a single person in Fitzwilliam College may be offered if it is available; if the Director of Music lives out of College, a room or shared office will be provided. The College will appoint a mentor for the successful applicant.
