Berklee College of Music is seeking applications for a part-time faculty member to teach Music History, specifically a course entitled Music of the African Diaspora in the United States. This person may have the opportunity to develop other courses.

Required:

• Master’s degree in musicology or ethnomusicology with a specialization relating to the topic of the course
• Teaching experience
• Student-centered

Preferred:

• Doctorate in musicology or ethnomusicology
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• Experience teaching music history
