Administrative Assistant for Special Events
- Provide administrative/database support and general assistance to the New York Philharmonic Office of Special Events
- Provide administrative/database support and general assistance to the Volunteer Council Officers who oversee volunteer activities.
- Responsible for some event coordination and management
A college degree with one to two years office experience; excellent communications, grammar and editing skills; proficiency with MS Office with strong Excel and mail merge experience; knowledge of Tessitura is highly valued. Must be organized, detail-oriented and diplomatic with the ability to prioritize multiple projects at the same time. Ability to work long hours and evenings is essential. Prior Special Events experience a plus and enthusiasm for classical music noted.
