Due to re-structuring, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra is looking for a creative and motivated Development Officer to join the Orchestra’s Development department.

The successful candidate will have fundraising experience, ideally in the arts, excellent communication skills and be highly organised. The Development Officer will play a key role in managing and developing the Orchestra’s individual giving strategy, including promotion and administration of the individual giving programme. This involves organising special events, networking at receptions, running donor recruitment campaigns and ensuring effective stewardship of the Orchestra’s 1000 donors.  The Development Officer will also assist in generating income from charitable trusts and foundations, involving research and the preparation of grant applications.
