Iona College is seeking an Assistant Professor in Music. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Teach in four or more of the following: Music Appreciation, Practical Music Experience, Music in Film and Video, Music in World Cultures, Music History, Women in Music, Piano Instruction
• Management of The Iona College Instrumental Ensemble
• Management of Major in Arts Leadership, Music Concentration
• Recruitment and advisement for Major in Arts Leadership, Music Concentration
• Recruit music students for the Fine and Performing Arts Department by attending open houses and recruitment fairs
• Work within the Fine and Performing Arts Department in coordinating classes, developing new courses and strengthening existing courses, supporting program development, and carrying out department goals and objectives
• Create and maintain social media platforms to promote the department and the music program
• Assume department, program and college committee responsibilities as required
