Ronan Collins is well-known as an Irish radio and television presenter. His primetime radio show on RTÉ Radio 1 ‘The Ronan Collins Show’ has been running for many years.

He is also one of the very few who can emulate the unique vocal range and match the falsetto quality of Joe Dolan’s voice. Most people are not aware that the RTE DJ is one of the best singers of showband and pop hits. His nostalgia tour ‘Reeling in The Showband Years’ and his successful showband hits CD, with sales in excess of 20,000, are hugely popular.

Since the death of Joe Dolan in December 2007 there have been a number of attempts to pay tribute to the great vocal talent of the Westmeath Bachelor but none have been able to replicate the quality of Joe’s voice.
