Assistant Producer, Primary School Music Campaign

BBC Learning is looking for an Assistant Producer to work on an ambitious new primary school music campaign, which has the aim of making every child a musician. Beginning in 2019, the music campaign will galvanise the BBC and partners to champion the benefits of music education to children, schools, teachers, parents and their families. Through dedicated educational resources, inspirational content from across the BBC and a network of committed partners 2019 will be the year first access to music for everyone is provided.

Working with a Producer and overseeing the work of a Researcher, you will play a key role in the process of commissioning content from external companies and will project manage aspects of this activity in addition to working with educational consultants and managing the delivery of their content. You will also be able to come up with imaginative, exciting ideas, ensuring all content is of suitable quality, has great learning outcomes, and delivers on our ambition.
