As an academic member of both the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the School of Music, you will have a key role in keeping the OU in the forefront of supported distance higher education, particularly in designing and facilitating effective teaching of the discipline’s modules, qualifications and programmes. You will also be responsible for the selection, monitoring and staff development of part-time Associate Lecturers, who teach modules in music. 

You will hold as a minimum requirement a postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in music or a cognate area, and have relevant experience of teaching and management of teaching, and student support.
