Composer-Curator Programme

Composer-Curator Programme

Tuesday, 12 February 2019, 5.00pm

Composer-Curator supports outstanding projects across the UK that are curated and produced by composers and music creators. These are centred on performance events and installations, with workshops and public discussions also encouraged. The programme supports any form of experimental new music or sound art, whether it involves exploratory jazz, contemporary classical, electroacoustic work, non-Western musics or any other relevant practice.

Participants spend an initial period refining their projects with the support of the Sound and Music team, before moving on to a production phase, culminating in two or more public events.

The programme is open to all UK-based creators working with music or sound. The final public events will take place between May 2019 and March 2020.
