Sage Gateshead is looking for an experienced Ukulele player to lead its Adult Intermediate Course and Adult Themed Ukulele Course. The tutor will devise and deliver sessions to help improve Ukulele playing in a fun and supportive environment as well as devising a new theme each term for Themed Ukuleles.  

As Project Musician you will be interested in leading a regular adult course, with knowledge about how to bring adult participants on a learning journey through music and signpost on into other areas of musical learning. You will have proven experience of playing ukulele and leading group sessions as well a good understanding of ukulele repertoire and good interpersonal skills.

As Project Musician you will be involved in regular creative planning sessions with other musicians and project partners, as well as meetings as necessary with the appropriate task manager. There will also be occasional workshops and training events with other artists.
