Leeds College of Music is looking to appoint a Course Leader for its BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music course.  The ideal candidate will be a successful music graduate with experience of managing and delivering music in secondary or further education settings, and a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes for learners. Knowledge of BTEC and A level music syllabuses is highly desirable, as well as being a hardworking and creative teacher and manager.

The post involves the line management of a team of staff covering popular, jazz and classical styles.  The post holder will undertake around 15 hours of teaching and tutorials per week, including areas such as pop ensembles, music history, music theory, performance workshops, arranging and composing, sequencing, and aural.
