Research Fellow – Music Therapy

The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) seeks to appoint an experienced and detail orientated Research Fellow to be part of a team of researchers working on a National Health and Medical Research Council funded randomized control trial, which examines how group music therapy and recreational choir singing impacts levels of depression in people with dementia. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the clinical trial under guidance from an international research team.

You will have completed neuropsychologist training and/or music therapy training, experience working with people with significant emotional, cognitive or physical impairments and demonstrated experience managing clinical trials and administering psychometric measures. The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team is also required.
