Berklee College of Music invites nominations and applications for the position of Assistant Chair of the Guitar Department. 

The ideal candidate will be an excellent guitarist and musician, experienced educator, and effective administrator, with a background of successful employment in a collegiate setting. Thorough understanding of all contemporary musical styles and national recognition as a performing artist on the guitar are essential. A Masters degree or equivalent professional experience is required. The candidate should have a proven ability to work and lead effectively in a highly diverse campus community, and a demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and organizations reflecting a broad range of identities, perspectives and experiences.
