Dartington International Summer School of Music is known for its wide-ranging courses, masterclasses and workshops for musicians of all interests and experience, taught by internationally-renowned artists, as well as its evening programme of public concerts and events.
We are looking for an administrator to join our small professional team to provide essential full-time administrative support to ensure that the Summer School is delivered to the highest possible standard.
You will provide support to the General Manager and carry out administrative tasks that include liaising with artists, suppliers, participants and volunteers. Key tasks will include management of the Summer School’s bursary scheme, music hire and volunteer recruitment.
This is an ideal job for someone looking to develop a career in classical music and the arts. You will be well organised, able to plan your time effectively and a good team player. You will need flair and ambition, coupled with sound attention to detail, some experience in concert and event management and a love of music.
