Director of Artist Development

Tuesday, 30 May 2017, 11.55pm

The National Opera Studio (NOS) develops today’s talent for tomorrow’s opera. The NOS is unique, being the only studio of its kind to work in partnership with not one but six leading opera companies: English National Opera (ENO), Glyndebourne, Opera North, Royal Opera House (ROH), Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera (WNO).

The Studio is seeking a Director of Artist Development to help catalyse the next phase of our growth in the approach to its 40th anniversary year. This is a new role which will be central to the expansion and development of the organisation.

The Director of Artist Development will create, implement and deliver the artist development strategy for the Studio, working closely with the Board, Chief Executive and artistic team, building on the high reputation of the NOS and helping to grow its resilience and reach to ensure its ongoing success.
