Hugh Buckley (guitar)
Damian Evans (bass)

Acclaimed Jazz Singer Cormac Kenevey and the inimitable Guitarist Hugh Buckley are rekindling their musical alliance for this one-night-only set at JJ Smyths. This time they will be joined by the omnipotent stalwart of Double Bass, Damian Evans, who says he is very excited about the date.

They have appeared together on a number of recordings and live stages over the past decade and are bringing together a new set of varied material including tunes from Fats Waller, Horace Silver, James Taylor, Miles Davis and themselves!

“Hugely Impressive” - The Sunday Times

“Highly Recommended” - Cadence Magazine, New York

“4 stars” - The Times

“Kenevey brings heart, spirit and warmth to everything he sings ” – Jazzwise

“It’s clear that the young Irish singer Cormac Kenevey possesses the charisma that jazz sorely needs at the moment” - Clive Davis, The Times (Live Review).
