The Programming Manager serves as manager of the Music Programming team. This position works within the team to oversee all logistical planning and necessary communication to ensure the success of the Kennedy Center Fortas and New Music, Hip Hop, Jazz and Special Programming.

The Manager must be able to make decisions, train develop, motivate and activate diverse team and exercise discretion in order to prioritize assignments and work under significant pressure, as many projects are time sensitive and involve concurrent deadlines.  An eagerness to take initiative, communicate and problem solve with a positive attitude is essential.
