The LSO St Luke’s Departmental Assistant & Receptionist is part of the small team responsible for running the London Symphony Orchestra’s flourishing music education centre. Based at the Artist Entrance, s/he is the first point of contact for people telephoning, emailing or arriving at LSO St Luke’s, presenting LSO St Luke’s and the London Symphony Orchestra as a welcoming and professional organisation. One of the primary responsibilities of the role is the rostering of casual staff (stewards and stage crew) as well as collating accurate payroll information.
S/he plays a vital role in the smooth running of the building’s financial and administrative systems, underpinning the work of the whole team and also forms part of the building’s operational staffing as dictated by the schedule of activity. Evening and weekend work will be required, dictated by the schedule of events.
