Overview: 
From classical instrumental, vocal performance and opera to composition, jazz, new music, world music, popular music, musical theatre, multimedia and audio engineering: Queensland Conservatorium helps aspiring musicians find their places on the world stage. As one of the largest Conservatoriums in the country, with over 800 students training as music professionals, our breadth of specialist degrees encompasses pre-tertiary, undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs across two campuses.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the South Bank campus. 

The role: 
This position is designed to lead our woodwind area into the next exciting phase of our development. The successful candidate will work alongside teachers of flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone and bassoon in our orchestral and chamber music programs, and teach into pedagogy, chamber music and ensemble studies as appropriate.

The person: 
We are seeking a teacher/performer of national or international calibre to provide leadership in our wind area. The successful candidate will have broad experience in the music profession, teaching experience at a tertiary level and capacity to contribute to a range of activities within Queensland Conservatorium.

Salary range: 
Senior Lecturer, Level C: $103,179 - $118,974 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $120,720 - $139,200 per annum.

Lecturer, Level B: $84,227 - $100,023 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $98,547 - $117,027 per annum.
