The Irish Times writes of Irish mezzo-soprano Tara Erraught; ‘she has that elusive X factor, that hidden message saying that she’s standing on the stage for her own pleasure as well as for yours’. The Irish singing sensation, now based in Munich, has made an impressive 33 role debuts as resident principal soloist at Bayerische Staatsoper. In 2017 she made her debut at New York’s world famous Metropolitan Opera House before taking up the lead role of Susanna in the newly formed Irish National Opera’s production of The Marriage of Figaro to great acclaim.

The NCH is delighted to have this opportunity to present Erraught in recital in her International Concert Series debut accompanied by world renowned Irish pianist and 2017 NCH Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Dr. John O’Conor.
