Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland – Accepting New Members

The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland is currently accepting new members.

What do new members need to know?
• Applicants should be between 13 and 24 years 
• New applicants should be in a position to join from August 2018.

• All orchestral instrumentalists may join. Bagpipers may also join.
• Rehearsals take place in Dundalk on 3 Sundays per month from September to January. Concerts take place over 5 weekends from January to March. A week long workshop takes place in August and during the Christmas holidays. CBOI is in recess from mid-March until August to facilitate school & college exams

Concerts
*Perform to over 40,000 people each year.
*Perform up to 15 concerts per year in our Arena Tour, including the SSE Arena, Belfast; the SSE Arena, Liverpool, the RDS Arena, Dublin; Galway, Limerick, Kilkenny, Waterford and more.
*Work with like-minded young people who simply love music and enjoy performing
*Work with one of Europe’s leading music educators and conductors, Mr. Greg Beardsell.
*Potential international concert Tour. The CBOI has performed in many iconic venues throughout the world including Carnegie Hall New York, and the Royal Albert Hall, London.
