The Armagh Pipers Club was founded in 1966 with the aim of promoting the playing of the uilleann pipes. It was very quickly realised that there was a huge void in the provision of musical education for all instruments and singing. The club has for the last 51 years been to the forefront of traditional music education in Ireland through a dedicated programme of classes, workshops, concerts and festivals backed up by the publication of a long line of innovative tutor books the first of their kind in Irish traditional music.

The development role plays an essential part in supporting and renewing the life of the Club. From working on grant funding applications, administration, budgeting, accounting, organising and publicising events, and both internal and external communications, this is a challenging and rewarding role within the charity sector.

If you have a passion for working in this field, Armagh Pipers Club would like to hear from you. Please download the application form at the link below and return it on or before midday on Monday 12th September 2017. Please offer as much supporting information as you can. There will be a shortlist selection process followed by a panel interview.
