The OCC is primarily a contemporary art and performance space and is particularly (though not exclusively) interested in proposals that are relevant to contemporary creative practices, new media and multi-media projects. The program welcomes projects that engage critically with the burning issues of our time.

Furthermore, the Onassis Cultural Centre is devoted to the promotion and support of productions that are of a particular relevance to contemporary Greece.

Co-productions between Greek organizations / groups / ensembles and their counterparts abroad are of particular interest, especially if they lead to performances outside Greece as well.
