The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre, which is named in honour of one of Ireland’s most renowned traditional musicians and folklorists, has established itself, over the past eighteen years, as a Centre of excellence for the traditional arts and culture as well as a focal point and social hub for local communities.

The Centre is currently seeking a Director who will report directly to the Board of Management of the Centre.

The position involves the management of all aspects of the Centre and will include the overseeing of planning and programming, managing budgets, finances and all matters relating to staff. It will also involve the development of future plans, ideas and the identifying of new funding sources for the future development of the Centre.

In addition, the new centre director will be encouraged to develop the Centre’s capacity to embrace other roles and uses, in keeping with the overall ethos of the Centre.
