In partnership with Northern Ireland Screen, BBC wants to give female film-makers – between the ages of 18 and 30 – based in Northern Ireland the opportunity to create a special film that will be screened on the BBC’s platforms, potentially on BBC NI’s The Arts Show.

These short art films must have a musical aspect at their core. They could feature a performance or have a specially created score underpinning the film; alternatively, they could tell the story of a musical artist, band or work. It could be a drama, a documentary, a music video or an animation.
