Music Bursaries

Future Talent builds relationships with all successful applicants and their families to provide sustained support, valuable mentoring, career and general music development advice and bespoke performance opportunities, as well as one of the following financial awards:

The Worsley Bursary:

Available to Musicians aged 5 to 15 years.  As well as the support and opportunities above, you can apply for a financial award of up to £3,000 to be used over three years.

The Robinson Bursary:

Available to Musicians aged 16 to 18 years.  As well as the support and opportunities above, you can apply for a financial award of up to £1,000 for one year only.  Award recipients may re-apply each year until they turn 18 years.

The Liz and Terry Bramall Scholarship:

Available to Musicians aged 5 to 18 years who permanently reside in the North of England.  Offering the same support and opportunities as above, this scholarship can continue until you turn 18 years and provides an annual award of up to £2,000.

We award funding for a variety of needs including:

▪Lessons

▪Contribution towards instrument purchase

▪Fees for membership to national or local training ensembles

▪Junior conservatoire fees

▪Residential training course fees

▪Graded music exam fees

 

Future Talent is unable to make grants towards any of the following:

▪Travel and accommodation costs

▪The cost of tuition or other activity that has already taken place

▪The cost of any instrument that has already been purchased
