The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is seeking an experienced artistic administrator with a passion for the arts to join its Artistic Planning team.

You are someone who enjoys working in a team and won’t be fazed by a demanding, intense and fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of rehearsals and performances across the Conservatoire. You will attend internal and external RCS rehearsals and performances, acting as a representative of the RCS and ensuring relevant preparation of all rehearsal and performance venues is completed as specified, providing detailed set-ups as required.

You must have an understanding of the professional needs and demands in the area of orchestras, ensembles and concerts, as well as experience of working to strict deadlines. You should have demonstrable excellent communication skills and be a highly organised individual, with the ability to multi-task. Experience in an administrative function in HE/Performing Arts environment is desirable.

Salary scale: £19,883 – £22,944 per annum, pro rata
