Scottish Opera is looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic Press & Communications Officer with excellent communication skills to join its busy press and marketing team. The Press & Communications Officer is involved in all areas of press, social media and broadcast activity, supporting the Press Manager in developing and implementing PR campaigns and the administration of the Press Office.

Applicants should have relevant experience, preferably in an arts organisation or similar, and be educated to degree level or equivalent. Knowledge of opera/classical music would be an advantage.

Some travel, weekend and evening work within Scotland will be required as part of this role.

The position is based in Scottish Opera’s offices in central Glasgow.
