Assistant Editor, The Journal of Music
The Journal of Music is seeking an Assistant Editor to assist in the editorial management of the publication as well as upcoming projects.
The role will involve working on the online magazine for four days a week.
The successful candidate will be based in Ireland and already have published a range of high-quality writing on music.
Excellent writing skills and an extensive knowledge of music in Ireland are essential. A qualification in music is an advantage, as is experience with digital publishing tools such as Mailchimp, Adobe Spark and Hootsuite.
The Assistant Editor will work independently and must be available to attend concerts, launches and meetings also. This position is suited to someone who is passionate about music, writing about music, and working in the publishing industry.
