WASO is seeking an outstanding double bassist for the position of Associate Principal Double Bass.

Auditions will be held at Perth Concert Hall on Wednesday 2 May 2018.

Recorded auditions are to be received by Tuesday 24 April 2018.

Applications close Tuesday 24 April 2018.

Audition requirements are:

1.     1st mvt of Dittersdorf or Vanhal Concerto (with cadenza)

2.     1st mvt of Bottesini or Koussevitzky Concerto

3.     Orchestral excerpts available to download here.

Note:  all set works and excerpts are to be presented in orchestral tuning:  A = 441Hz
