TRINITY CREATIVE CHALLENGE 2017- 2018
The Trinity Creative Challenge 2017-2018 is open for submissions until November 8th 2017 at 12pm.
The selection process is now open for the 2017-2018 round of awards.

TRINITY CREATIVE CHALLENGE OBJECTIVES
To nurture, promote and develop new approaches to interdisciplinary creative and cultural arts practice in Dublin and Ireland, including projects by staff and students of Trinity College Dublin and Associated Colleges
To foster new collaborations between the Trinity community and the cultural and creative industries sector
To identify emerging creative talent and support innovative and ambitious projects in and around Trinity College Dublin and the wider community
SELECTION CRITERIA
Applications will be evaluated with the following criteria in mind:
We are looking for interdisciplinary collaborative projects exploring new developments in creative arts practices
Projects should be ambitious, innovative and experimental
Projects should show potential for long-term growth and sustainability
Proposals will be assessed on their artistic impact but consideration will also be given to social, creative innovation and entrepreneurial value
Projects should show the potential for impact and serving as a creative arts catalyst
Projects should include collaboration with Trinity College
We will consider the projects' practical viability based on the indicated budget and production plan
AWARD CATEGORY ONE: TRINITY CREATIVE CHALLENGE AWARD
Who can apply
Applications are accepted from individuals, collectives and organisations. Proposals that include collaborations with co-production partners are also permissible
Proposals should identify how they intend to collaborate with Trinity College Dublin, what support might be required to facilitate the development of the project, and how the project might serve as a catalyst
The aim of the award is to foster the development of ambitious, impactful and innovative projects, ideally involving collaboration with Trinity College Dublin. We want to hear of ideas that cut across disciplines such as performance, visual art, music, film, design, new media, animation, gaming and creative technologies
How to apply
All applications must include the following:
1. A summary and outline of the proposal (no more than 3 x A4 pages)
The outline must include details of the following aspects:
a. What the project is and who is involved in it
b. How the applicant(s) intend to collaborate with Trinity College Dublin
c. What support might be required to facilitate the development of the project
d. How the project serves as a catalyst
2. Details on the applicant(s), including contact information – CVs or selected portfolio works should be included
3. A draft budget and production plan including justification for the level of investment must be included with the submission.
Please note: Failure to include any of the criteria above will render an application ineligible
APPLICATION PROCESS- AWARD CATEGORY TWO: TRINITY CREATIVE- CONTINUING TO CATALYSE AWARD

Applications are accepted from previous recipients of the Trinity Creative Challenge.

What the project is and who is involved in it
how the applicant(s) intend to collaborate with Trinity College Dublin
What support might be required to facilitate the development of the project
How the project serves as a catalyst
2. Details on the original Trinity Creative Awarded project and continued work/growth/evolution to date
3. Detailed description of how the project will work and integrate with Trinity College
4. Detailed description of how a further award would progress the project and how it will be different or builds upon the original project
5. A draft budget and production plan including justification for the level of investment requested
