AV Technician

Salary Grade: £20198 - £22685 per annum

We are seeking a competent, enthusiastic and suitably-qualified AV technician to support both the AV and recording aspects of the College’s academic function. The successful candidate will assist with the operation, maintenance, installation and demonstration of AV and recording equipment as well as dealing effectively with queries from staff and students. Responsible to the Recording Manager, the post holder will be experienced in the use of video editing software and have some knowledge of music technologies. The post holder will also be called upon to work within the College’s performance venues, dealing with the setting up, operation and de-rigging of sound & video equipment.

The ability to cope with working to a busy schedule (often independently with limited supervision) is essential. In addition, the post holder must be flexible, as the role demands the working of some unsocial hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays in order to meet the needs of the service operation.
