Early Irish Harp Discovery Day Hands-on harp workshop @ Galway Early Music Festival 2019

A Beginners’ workshop under the gentle guidance of Sylvia Crawford.

The HHSI has a unique collection of student early Irish harps copied from originals in the National Museum of Ireland. These are available on a first-come-first-served basis to the workshop participants. Number of participants is limited to 8.

This workshop is the third part of the Historical Harp Society of Ireland Early Irish Harp Discovery Day. It follows on a talk on the history of the harp in Ireland by Simon Chadwick (11am, Free) and a concert of Harpers Songs with Siobhán Armstrong and Eilís Ní Ríordáin (12pm, €15).
