Emer Barry’s debut album ‘Storyteller’ was officially launched in the National Concert Hall in July to rave reviews. She now brings the album and the show to Longford for the first time and is excited to share this milestone with the local crowd who have always been so supportive.

The show follows a four part structure whereby the following classic story types are celebrated: The Gossip Column, The Fairytale, The Tearjerker and The Great Caper with songs and stories to match each section. Songs from the album such as Over the Rainbow and Danny Boy will be performed as well as more dramatic numbers such as ‘The Doll Song’ from Tales of Hoffman and the wonderfully romantic duet from The Phantom of the Opera ‘All I Ask of You’ with guest tenor.

From Opera to the Cartoon Musical, Emer’s pure, lyric voice captures and communicates the story with what has been described as ‘superb stage presence’ (Carl Corcoran, RTE Lyric fm)
